Yacholet-Ikann

Founded in 2020, Yacholet-Ikann started as a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Jewish women who had experienced trauma, abuse, and were battling a variety of personal challenges.

What started as a community drop-in center in Hollywood, FL has since transformed into an organization specializing in supportive mental health services, therapeutic housing for Jewish women, social and emotional learning workshops, life skills trainings, and community education.

B.H.

"Yacholet helped me gain independence and listened to me as a person. They were able to work with me not against me. The program was accommodative and helped me make tangible and achievable goals. They helped me gain the ability to ask for help as well as help others."

P.L.

Yacholet's sense of community is what really makes it unique. The women at Yacholet form enduring, sustaining relationships through activities like hanging out together in parks, creating outdoor gardens, or just being there for friends when they need you most.

This network, which offers both practical and emotional support, is a vital component of the healing process.
