Yacholet-Ikann

Founded by Sarah Ruza in 2020, Yacholet-Ikann is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Jewish women who have experienced trauma, abuse, and are currently battling a variety of personal challenges regardless of insurance or financial means.

What started as a community drop-in center in Hollywood, FL has since transformed into crucial program specializing in mental health treatment and supportive therapeutic housing for Jewish women.

Our Impact

Over the past three years, we have witnessed numerous success stories among women. Many have achieved independence, embarked on college journeys, or obtained their GEDs, while others have found happiness in marriage or are initiating families.

Our method empowers women to sustain long-term recovery and enact enduring transformations in their lives.

Through our holistic strategy, participants reintegrate into society equipped with robust coping mechanisms and a solid support system, laying the groundwork for a promising future.

Founder/Program Director

"I receive daily calls from individuals in desperate need of help but simply cannot afford it. Some do not have insurance, while others lack the necessary finances. It is crucial that we secure ongoing funding for our organization to ensure we can continue providing assistance to those in need. Help us maintain our mission of helping those who are most vulnerable and in dire need. Your support is invaluable in making a difference in their lives."
