We accept Jewish women regardless of insurance or financial means. We need your help to continue to save the lives of these women!
Dear Community,
My name is Sarah Ruza, the founder & director at Yacholet-IKANN and I am asking you to take a moment to read about who we are and how you can help these amazing young adults.
WHO WE ARE
Yacholet is a non-profit organization set up to offset the cost of mental health treatment and living expenses for young Jewish adults. We provide a non-judgmental healing environment that offers both supportive services, prevention and educational programs. We also serve as a bridge between Ikann Wellness Center and other organizations, that offer therapy, coaching, holistic care, psychiatric and IOP services.
Our goal is to encourage our clients to work beyond their issues and envision a healthier and more stable life for themselves. Yacholet is a kosher establishment that recognizes the importance of finding balance in the physical, spiritual, and emotional realms of life. We assist with spiritual interventions and support the reconnection of a positive, loving relationship with Hashem and the self. With the support of our skilled practitioners, we have witnessed clients make positive changes in their lives and truly thrive.
We work with individuals aged 18 to 30 who come from mostly observant homes and have been facing personal challenges such as homelessness, self-harm, depression, and trauma, and abuse. We carefully assess each client's unique set of circumstances and create treatment goals and a supportive plan to help them thrive.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We greatly appreciate your financial contributions. By making a donation to Yacholet-IKANN, you make it possible for individuals to receive the daily support they need, including housing, food, coaching, therapists, nutritional support, or a shoulder to lean on. When an individual lacks the financial resources to pay for their treatment or living expenses, Yacholet steps in to help offset these costs and provide transportation to treatment and other appointments, as well as a supportive living environment.
Your contribution can sponsor treatment for a month, groceries, or even a therapy horse. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that clients receive the necessary treatment, regardless of their financial situation. However, we can only achieve this with your help!
Please consider supporting this program and keeping it as a viable solution for young adults in distress. Imagine if it were your child or grandchild in need of these services, and remember that we are all connected. The mitzvah of supporting Yacholet is significant, as you will be helping to save lives.
I receive daily calls from individuals in desperate need of help but simply cannot afford it. Some do not have insurance, while others lack the necessary finances. There are also cases where individuals have utilized their insurance for treatment but find themselves without a safe place to go once it concludes. It is crucial that we secure ongoing funding for our organization to ensure we can continue providing assistance to those in need. Please consider making a contribution to help us maintain our mission of helping those who are most vulnerable and in dire need. Your support is invaluable in making a difference in their lives.
A year ago, I did not know where to turn; I did not know if I could ever get a job again or go on living a productive life. Yacholet has been there for me. They have provided warmth, support and healing. I am on my way back up, but I still need continued help to get fully back on my feet to living a healthy life...
Yacholet will give me the tools to not only survive but to thrive. Yacholet will give me the confidence to keep reaching my goals, and the hands-on practice of living independently. At Yacholet, I will have access to amazing therapists, and I will be surrounded by young women who, like me, are finding their footing in a rocky world. We really need your financial help to get me to Yacholet....

I have been assaulted in my neighborhood and in my home and now suffer from panic attacks, flashbacks, PTSD, and anxiety. I am trying to leave the toxic environment that I am currently in. I have overcome a lot in my life to get to where I am today and I know that things can improve and I can heal with the proper help. Your donation could provide the opportunity for safety and healing that I desperately need in order to move forward....
Imagine facing a daily struggle against extreme mood regulation, trauma, an eating disorder, and paralyzing anxiety – all while striving to build a better future. Devorah has been working tirelessly to heal and grow, and her determination is truly inspiring....

Tzivia has shown incredible strength and dedication in her pursuit of healing. She's been putting in her utmost effort to overcome the challenges she faces, and her progress has been truly inspiring. However, the costs associated with her treatment program are creating a barrier that threatens to halt her progress. By coming together as a community, we can make a tangible difference in Tzivia’s life. Your support will not only help cover the costs of her program but also send a powerful message that we stand together in support of this Jewish girl’s life...
