About our organization

Founded by Sarah Ruza in 2020, Yacholet-IKANN a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Jewish women who have experienced trauma, abuse, and are currently battling a variety of personal challenges regardless of insurance or financial means.

What started as a community drop-in center in Hollywood, FL has since transformed into crucial program specializing in mental health treatment and supportive therapeutic housing for Jewish women.

Yacholet-IKANN is funded by donations and complies with the strictest NGO financial management requirements.

Our mission at Yachol(et)-Ikann is to provide essential support and services to Jewish women who have experienced trauma and mental health challenges. We are a Jewish non-profit organization committed to helping individuals access supportive living, therapeutic services, and holistic services in Hollywood, FL.

Our goal is to improve the lives of those we serve by providing compassionate care, resources, and education. We strive to create a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential.
